We are committed to provide a safe environment for our children and youth. We strictly follow the guidelines outlined in the Presbyterian Church of Canada “Leading with Care” policy document, which can be viewed HERE.

All children are warmly welcomed and respected at Brant Hills. They participate in worship by lighting the Christ candle each Sunday morning. The Christ candle is lit to remind us that Jesus Christ, the Light of the World, is present at our worship. We celebrate that our children can be the conduit of this message.

Once a month the children participate by welcoming at the doors, taking up the offering, and leading the responsive reading.

Brant Hills offers a games day on an occasional basis, not only for children, but for families and individuals of every age to enjoy a fun time together.

Children are a vital part of our congregation. They are welcomed at our dinners and other events, their questions are respected and answered by our Minster and teachers, and members of our congregation take an active interest in their lives and provide encouragement and understanding.

Opportunities for camp adventures at Camp Kintail are offered and encouraged.

At our annual children’s Christmas party, the children get to do crafts, play games, enjoy pizza and dessert, and best of all, chat with Santa. Some of the crafts they make at this event are used to decorate the sanctuary Christmas tree.
